Hinton Things to Do; Jasper National Park

The town of Hinton, Alberta offers many things to
do; Jasper National Park is less than an hour's
drive away after all. But while it's easy to
overlook Hinton due to its proximity to Jasper,
there are many things to do and see in town to keep
travelers occupied on days when you don't want to do
any more driving. There's great fishing, hiking and
golfing in the summer, and great shopping and indoor
entertainment year-round.
One of Western Canada's most famous national parks,
Jasper is full of great things to do for anyone from
the hardcore outdoors enthusiast to those who want a
more relaxed vacation. In the summer there is great
fishing, hiking, rafting, glacier skiing, hot
springs, and more, while the winter features some of
Canada's best skiing, scenic sleigh rides, and great
museums and theatres.
